About This Site

I have always believed in the power of story and of words. Words that tell great stories. I grew up on hymns. They are the perfect combination of two things that I love: music and words. One of my favorites is "Blessed Assurance." I love the whole song but especially the lines: "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Savior all the day long." Another favorite song is "My Story" by Big Daddy Weave. The line that sticks out to me (and I'm constantly humming in my head!) is "To tell of my story is to tell of Him." 

And that's just it: We all have a story. My life is my story, but it’s one that I’m not writing- Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of my faith is. (Hebrews 12:1) My story isn’t really mine after all- it’s God’s story. I love to see how each chapter unfolds. Because in the end, it’s all about Him- telling of His goodness and grace.

I want this little space to be a place where stories are shared, the stories that tell of Jesus and point to Him.
